57 STEPS TO WALK INTO GREATNESS (Continued)
2. WORK OUT YOUR STRENGTH
America’s invasion of Japan
(Hiroshima and Nagasaki) in 1942, wasn’t a mere war between a super-war-giant,
full of trained war soldiers and dozens of sophisticated atomic weapons from underground
submarines to jet bombers; and a less prepared nation (Japan) that was taken by
surprise.
As a matter of fact, America didn’t
wake up one fateful morning and concluded they must come face-to-face with
Japan, rather she must have planned her days, run research programs, drew their
tactical plans etc on how to take the Japanese by surprise.
Your strengths are your knowledge, knowledge
is powerful –the exuberance of a
youth is his strength and vigor, while that of the old ages is their grey hair.
So you had better define your prowess in order to defend your goal(s). More so,
the Americans knew the only way to defend their superiority was to attack Japan
cities of Hiroshima & Nagasaki [by taking them unawares].
Your strength is your skill and your
skills come from learning, and learning by practicing; which in turn gives
birth to perfection.
