PLAY THE PROFESSIONAL IF YOU MUST RETAIN YOUR ACCOLADES
According to Charles
Lindbergh; “Success is not measured by what a man accomplishes, but by the
opposition he encountered and the courage he maintained in his struggle against
it”. See yourself as a worker “a
professional worker” who takes pleasure in executing his tasks.
As a professional, you
should have a great passion for your job; do everything you can to make sure
you proceed to the next level of success. Richie Norton said; “You
gotta make it a priority to make your priorities be a priority”
Since your job is a
career that puts food on you table; whether it’s tedious or not, what comes to
your mind is the satisfaction you derive from the job and the solution you
render to other people’s problem. You should be clear-headed; do not allow mistakes
from any corner to fly by.
Indeed, focus on your deadlines
as to when to deliver, and remain level-headed irrespective of outcomes that
might not seem favourable etc. Believe passionately in whatever you are doing
and confide in your wealth of expertise. Do not make a mistake of losing the
premium that excellence and hard work earn.
Avoid playing the
prostitute, by firstly pursing the money, while leaving the goal envisioned fallowing.
More so, do not forget the danger that come with mediocrity. Bohdi Sanders said;
“Focus on making yourself better, not on thinking you are better”. Even if you think you are better, it’s your
responsibility to get to the stage of being the best at whatever you are doing.
