DEPEND ON PATIENCE TO GET THE BEST OUT OF LIFE
51 DEPEND ON PATIENCE
Success is not a journey for the weak,
neither is victory a game for mediocre or the timid; but for those (people) who
are embodiments of breakthrough via versatility and creativity. To achieve any
goal or set any enviable standards, you must pay the price of bravery and
doggedness; so you could fall the walls of every militating obstacles. There
should be no-mercy-syndrome; such that, the pace is kept high out there without
fear of deviation or distraction.
Indeed, Kautilya; an Indian
philosopher once said something very salient about achieving greatness; that, “Those
who seek to achieve things should show no mercy”. Moreover, do not be
modeled by the pattern of life around you that are inconsequential to your
growth, rather erect a wall of defense to build your career distinctively. As a
matter of fact, refuse to be weak or blinded (creative-wise). Renew yourself by
shaping a new identity for your future; refuse to be tossed around by
difficulties resulting from inferiority complex or mediocrity, learn to stand
firm on what you know is right or whatever you believe in.
Avoid being weak, because weak
people; according to Cardinal De Retz; “(Weak people) never give way when they
ought to”. Simply for fear of taking the bull by the horns or acting
against all odds irrespective of what or who is involved. More so, never seem
to be in a hurry – “Hurry indeed, is a product of fear and fear is an end-product of
cowardice that justifies failure”.
Learn to be patient, no matter the
magnitude of the expectations or the velocity of the process; one thing for
sure is that “All is well that ends well” and all wound must be healed, only by
time (patiently). The secret of great powers lie in unflinching
persistence and unwavering patience; no matter what.
