RESIST DISTRACTIONS, OVERCOME PITFALLS
37 RESIST DISTRACTIONS
We are often terrified by the fear of
making mistakes, what people would say of us and other mind-threatening,
thought provoking questions such as; The enmity we might enkindle; if we extend
our limit of usual status, What if we make flaws? How do we remedy these
erroneous actions etc could becomes our fears and mind obsessions etc.
Moreover, we must not feel
trepidation or depression within us whenever we seem to be facing or seeing
temptations that could bring in confusion as a result of distraction etc.
Indeed, no matter the premonition, diverted attention or something of some
sorts that could cause lost of attention or direction. For example, when the
Republican Presidential Aspirant (USA) in 2003 John Kerry lost his dream of
president to the incumbent president George W.H. Bush, he wasn’t seeing his
defeat as a dead-end; neither did he see the poll as an aspersion, but an
opportunity to taste the U.S. election in the presidential level.
According to Henry Ford, “Failure
is the only opportunity to begin more intelligently; and Mike Murdock
said; “Success will smile at the man who refuses to be down at the corridor
of failure”.
Besides, “It’s only when we can see the
invisible that we can do the impossible”
– Anonymous; and above all, don’t let your weakness cost you your destiny;
so stand firm and resist all forms of distraction.
