30      LEARN FROM PEOPLE’S MISTAKES

The best and safest way to right our wrongs is by correcting our mistakes; but the worst and most dreaded action is for one to be conscious not of his mistakes or errors of others.

According to one of the world’s most funeral orator, Thucydides… “I fear our mistakes for more than the strategies of our enemies”; and “The wise course are to profit from the mistakes of others”. Terrence. And to John Dryden, in a book titled, ‘All for love’, said; “Errors, like straws upon the surface flow”. Aaron knew that if mistakes are noticed yet not amended, it could show a Christian heaven’s gate; but prevent entrance. That was simply why he learnt from the grievous and precarious mistake made by his predecessor. (Moses) when he was unable to control his [hot] temper.

Everyman must decide whether he will walk in the light for correcting the errors of his predecessors, or living in total darkness for allowing his mistakes (by failing to right the wrongs he had seen to grow into fearful terror etc).

More so, let’s stop blaming others for their erroneous actions; because it kills our spirit of advancing forward (courage). According to Robert Anthony; “The best way to escape from our problems is to solve them”.

Mistakes are like fire, if you let them have their way, you might not be able to put them off or control them.” More so, “Better be wise by the misfortunes of others than by your own” Aesop.
