WORK OUT GREATNESS WITH ALL YOU'VE GOT

56      WORK OUT GREATNESS

“The heights by great men reached and kept were not attained by sudden flight; but they, while their companions slept, were toiling upward in the night” – Henry Longfellow.
Throughout history, some great people had been born or identified by great traits and other successful achievements. Indeed, it’s no hidden secret that, small minds are the first to condemn great ideas, but don’t forget that it’s possible because some people had seen the invisible hence their strength had become indefatigable (invincible) not because of their size, tribe or sex but because they believe they are able.
Moreover, when Charles Darwin published his first blueprint on evolution, he was faced with fierce oppositions and slanderous reproach from his fellow scientists; who where feebleminded, mediocre, agents of destruction, enemies of progress etc; all these were devised antics by the enemies to pull him down; but he kept pushing on, by means to keep his dream alive. (Darwin’s Evolution)
In life, so many people had inherited greatness; some fight to take hold of it; some walk pass the corridors of greatness, while the rest cannot see the shadows of greatness. More so, some people perceive greatness, many taste greatness but in a rush; while others do not even know how it smells. For example, majority of the greatest people who had ever lived are mainly of the story of grass-to-grace i.e. starting from nobody to becoming an enviable role model to so many.
Besides, you have to take your destiny seriously; because your life is in your own hands – whether you fail or succeed. Do not forget that great people had always worked extra miles and put in extra hands and brain-powers. For instance, John Pimberton (Coca-Cola) and Luigi John Baird didn’t achieved their breakthroughs by mere wishes; neither did Thomas A. Edison and the Wright Brothers (Wilbur and Orville) managed to work out their greatness without focus; nor did Bill Gates and Warren Buffet fail to map-out their strategies of taking hold of the steering of fortune; but by standing against all odds despite the circle of struggles.
Do always believe in your ability, if not for anything’s sake; but to paint a reliable-and-unwavering pictures of greatness; so that other people would see reasons to depend on you. For instance, if a driver seems fidgeting on the scene of an attempted accident; it will not only give the passengers doubt of his competence, but also let them lose interest in his confidence. In this, you must play the role of an experienced-but-brave driver who controls the pace of success.
Act like a pro and you will be treated as one. Don’t let your enemies and your competitors know you weaknesses – but, don’t forget to hide your short comings (as a secrete that keeps you higher and going)
