MAKE THE END MEMORABLE
57 MAKE THE END MEMORABLE
It’s better for the end of a thing
than its genesis – Proverbs
It’s the end of every action that
determines who gets the glory, the money, the pride, the pedigree etc. No
matter the smallness of the beginning, you must depend on the strength of your
skill; so you could make a great end out of the humble beginning.
You must have a stake in whatever
that transpires, either big or small; your decision must be geared towards
revamping the corridors of your victory to the end. You must have eagle-vision
to complement the beautiful-successful ending that comes with a humble
beginning. You must polish your vision to suite your dreams; because the bible
book of Proverbs. 29:18 “Where there’s no vision, the people perish”; so your vision must be vividly defined.
More so, the stakes at the end must
be assured of proceeds, hopes of breakthroughs; because according to Frank Harris
“A
man without ambition is like a woman without beauty”. You must keep the goals constantly in
mind; by picturing the outcomes of future aspirations – such as how to get
started, keep going etc. And in all, never let others (competitors etc) steal
the glory or the crown it took you years to build.
Moreover, don’t see obstacles as dead
ends, neither must you dread them as terrors of the nights; rather fight them
with all forms of seriousness and in all you have to win the battle. Indeed,
Archimedes foresaw his obstacles as the threats advanced closer, he fought them
with high hopes of victory; having persevered the tribulations from the
government of then (the people etc), yet overcame the predicaments (from tortures
to slanderous abuser during the court judgments); simply because, he was seeing
from his innermost mind that; the darkest hour is nearest the dawn;
hence, he was perceiving the sweetness of the end beforehand; the bountifulness
of the harvest would be unimaginable and at last, he took the pride by winning
the crown.
The beginning might be small, do not
worry, it’s the end that tells the story; either sweet or sour, so, let your
end ring a bell, let it sing a melodious-but-glorious song.
