USE THE POWER OF YOUR GIFT
Skills
are learnt, but gifts are inherent in us; your gift is like an intrinsic reward
which is your propeller and a driving force that brings out your thoughts
outwardly. Gifts are like light to everyone who has it as such; are not meant
to be hidden. The bible said that; “Only a foolish person that would light a lamp
and yet, put it under a covering”. Indeed, our gifts are supposed to be
our illuminators, which will burn brighter as the days go bye.
Moreover,
if you are creatively gifted and yet, hide your talents by failing to put them
into judicious use; then, you are in no way better than that foolish man who
ignite his lamp and hid it under a covering—as such, there shall never be any
breakthrough for you in the future until you start making use of your gift(s).
It’s obvious that mere school education doesn’t solve poverty or financial
inadequacies; rather, your gifts and talents are the keys to your success.
Besides, most people are yet to discover their talents, while some have
neglected theirs for the pursuit of other profession that appear juicy and rosy
only but for few times.
As a
matter of fact, Vann Gough, Claude Monet, Leonardo Da Vinci and a
host of other artists are being celebrated world wide today, simply because
they were able to discover their route and position with destiny on time, hence
followed their hearts to make their dreams come alive, by painting
exceptionally attractive landscapes and seascapes, drawing of master plans,
designing monumental structures that lasts till date (Masterpieces).
Variety is the spice of life; and creativity is the panacea for boredom—which invariably would sharpen our
edge above our equals or competitors, if only, we would enhance, develop,
refine our skills and gifts; and put them into positive use. Unless, we polish
our gifts and talents, we would continue to be enslaved by our counterparts;
which is not God’s purpose for us, because according Herbert Spencer – “No
one can be perfectly free until all are free” financially and otherwise.
Moreover,
let’s be up and doing by not trying to become someone else (copying); because,
if we be ourselves i.e. the God-created-us, and put in our very best, I bet
you, the zenith is our starting point; because, God is original (he’s) creative
and yet works by bringing his thoughts into perfect actions (as the greatest
artist).
