A NIGHT TO REMEMBER
The whole trees were on their feet dancing
Swinging their waist, up and doing
Like the gymnastic javelins
The colourful birds were singing
Sonorously as the whispers of pigeons
Wish the night never came to an end
All ants and scorpions were in jubilation
The mantis were busy praying
All for the sluggish millipede
To before time reach its destination
For the party had just begun in high euphoria
And we all desire to be with the champions
To share in its guarded oblivion
Not as a result of cowardice but divination
O! Can’t you see it from afar?
Yes! Can’t you pay as charged?
Not because you are rich
Or because you are poor, but as you wish
And i will say i love you just the way you are
