EYES WITHOUT SIGHT
How blind was i to see the beauty of the love i pursue?
How good was it to hold on to the purity i seek?
In all, i was weather beaten to my dismay
In this, I saw something shimmering
Shining so brightly for another hope
to be born
In that, I felt cheated
I Craved for more
Unknowing it was your lips
At the court
Men danced like ducks
Women were filled with love
Like a water inside a jug
Children sang with valour
Like a Christian waiting for divine
favour
I wish i could, everything seen?
When you spake
All sleeping eyes became awake
Power consumed powers
And the dreams came alive
I wish i could feel the warmth
It became murky
My heart glistered without light
And your eyeballs glisten
conspicuously
There and then, my soul rejoiced
I wish i could see the thrills?
