START WHERE YOU ARE WITH WHAT YOU HAVE
According to Calvin
Coolidge, “No man was ever honoured for what he received. Honour has been
rewarded for what he gave”, give the little of your gift services etc
to the world so as to get honoured – whatever we do for ourselves alone dies
with us, but what we do for others by virtue of our services rendered keeps our
joy boundless.
Socrates
was fair enough when he said; “Let him that would move the world first
move himself” For you to be a successful businessman or woman of a billion
dollar worth ($1.bn) you must have
succeeded in a venture of one hundred thousand Dollar ($100,000.00) sometimes,
we get scared of swinging into action of starting new businesses because of
fear of failure, insufficient capital etc, but do not forget what John F.
Kennedy said “There are risk and cost to a program of action, but they are less than the long-range risk and cost of
comfortable in action” Moreover, “the most daring courses are often the
safest” Henry Kissinger.
According to Basil Walsh; “We
don’t need more strength or more ability or greater opportunities. What we need
to use is what we have”. You can’t give what you don’t have, the same
way; you can’t invest what you don’t have, except you are a thief – [stealing
from others]. Moreover learning new things won’t help the person who refused to
use what he already knows. success
on its own, It’s not a big or new word, it simply means doing best the way we can with
what we have more so, do not forget what the bible said, “He who is faithful with little
would be entrusted with much” – do not undermine your little beginning.
