“The central problem of
our age is how to act decisively in the absence of certainty”
Bertrand Russell. We can’t break record or set standard by thinking the
usual-ordinary–anyway, we must separate ourselves from the crowd if we must be
celebrated for achieving our feat.
Coca-Cola couldn’t have been this popular and rich if John Pimberton (the
founder) had refused to think out of the box, Sony Electronics would have
remained as obsolete as the stone age products; men wouldn’t have known how to
fly on air, if the Wright Brother went to sleep all days of their youthful age,
Zuckerberg refused to think the ordinary
(way) hence gave birth to the ‘Facebook’
dream. More so, if Larry Page and Sergey Brin had refused to think out of the box, the world’s
most reliable internet search engine ‘THE GOOGLE’ would have died at
preliminary stage.
If
you must be a solution to your generation, a contribution to the world’s
growing economy etc, you must apply the third eye and the sixth sense. “Always
aim high, going after things that will make a difference; rather than seeking
the safe path of mediocrity” – Wes Roberts. Mediocre are failures, they are always
complaining, finding loopholes for excuses.
