BE KNOWLEDGEABLE
“Knowledge is a comfortable and
necessary retreat and shelter for us in advanced age; and if we do not plant it
while young; it will give us no shade when we grow old” – Lord
Chesterfield.
It’s impossible for you
to describe a street you have never once been to; unless you want to lie. You
cannot give what you don’t have except you are planning to be a thief. Knowing
is much of empiricism—it’s what you must have, feel it, see it (by view), and
give it in exchange for the liberation of those who wish to have it.
Knowledge is not a
thing you get overnight, rather you work for it, pay for it; and then treasure
it, because it’s what will raise some men above others. According to Shakespeare;
“Ignorance
is the curse of God, knowledge, the wing wherewith we fly to heaven”.
Knowledge is one of the
most powerful ingredients of greatness. Knowledge is the light with which we
can see the future even when the present is not as bright as we want; knowledge
is the weapon with which anybody can fight this present world and survive till
the nearest generation.
Any man who do not have
knowledge is already suffering from paralysis amongst his peers who have it,
despite his/her physical posture etc, “knowledge gives courage, and courage breeds
self-confidence to achieve set goals”.
