WHAT IS YOUR MISSION ON EARTH?
According
to Joseph E. Cossman; “Obstacles are things a person sees when he takes off his eyes off
his goal”. What is your passion? What is your energizing force? What is
that thing that keeps you going; even when there are incentives or extrinsic
rewards? Your mission shouldn’t be short of anything that would take away your
imperfection, boredom, fears and poverty etc.
What
really is your mission; is it to know why the glass is half full or why is it
half empty? The choice is yours, as long as you get your conscience satisfied
Jeff Bezos said; “You don’t choose your passion, your passion chose you”. What
are you prospecting as your endpoint? What is your take on the pursuit of
missions to be accomplished? How are you putting finishing touches to the dreams
you’ve started? These and many more questions should run through your mind if
you must break through—but to break forth, you must answer these questions
positively.
Paramahansa
Yogananda asserted; “The season of failure is the best time of sowing seeds of success”.
To so many people, it might look nonsensical; but the truth is what it is. For
example, in the stock market, the best time to invest is when the business
seems crashing (bearish season). Often times, we get down-casted or devastated
over past errors or goals we couldn’t meet—they are called goals because there
are also goalkeepers. Obstacles are not goal killers in all the cases,
sometimes they act as goal-reaching stimulus; they help us to work much harder
in order to break every barrier that could militate against the success we’ve
earmarked for ourselves. According to Jack Welch; “If we fail to control our
destiny, someone else will”. Do you want to see someone else deciding
your height in life’s pursuits? I
strongly believe your answer is ‘NO’. Your future and destiny is solely your
responsibility, and if anyone is taking your place in that light; it then
becomes your fault.
