STRIVE TO DO MORE THAN YOUR BEST
A talent is cheap, and it’s with everyone; it’s only
those who take actions by judiciously making do with their best, which are said
to be optional. Talents have no values until they are being made use of
positively. Talents are indeed a garden, if they are not cultivated; they soon
become taken over by weeds.
According to Erica Jong; “Everyone has talent. What’s rare
is the courage to follow it to the dark places until where it leads”. It’s obvious every artist at one point in
time were once armature before the light of perfection shone on them—to become
masters of the arts.
Moreover,
our hopes are embedded in our gifts, talent and creative abilities but whenever
we allow some pessimists to help us kill them, we would soon lose them than
winning. So we must do all we can, to
hold on to all the potentials we have found in ourselves and avoid every
symptoms of dream killers. Besides, we must embark on only the tasks we can
execute instead of involving on projects that would flop in the end. John
Wooden said; “Do not let what you cannot do interfere with what you can do”. No man is useless or without dreams or aspirations, but so many lacked the vision to transform their dreams into realities. we must never allow fears rob us of our destinies. we can make it, only if we keep striving to do better than our best.
