HOLD YOUR FUTURE IS IN YOUR HANDS

Jabez as name in the Hebrews language means ‘sorrow and trouble’. Indeed, the bible book of   1Corinthians 4:9-10 made a very lucid explanation on the measure Jabez took to make the much needed positive change his life had longed expected. Jabez wasn’t ignorant of the power of self-conviction; and unflinchingly, he did all he could to break away from the setbacks, quickly he had destiny-killers to contend with; hence he has to pray to God for a better life than he was living.

Just like many of us today, Jabez wasn’t satisfied with the outcomes of his efforts, he realised that human troubles are not inherent in tribes or names, but on individual’s inability in remoulding his or her destiny in the most of best times. Whosoever wishes to paints his or her future the way most perceived best; shouldn’t allow the painting be done by someone else.

Pay more attention to the things you are yet to do than those ones you couldn’t do well. Whatever that’s a waste is gone and should be forgotten. Your past failures had come and gone, you shouldn’t let failures alter the prospects you have set out to achieve. Experience is part of life’s greatest attempt; that’s why you must get experience from your pasts to better your future; having known this, Jabez was able to change his name from ‘sorrow and trouble’ to ‘laughter and greatness’.

God had told us to pray according to His will for us; He will hear and bless us. Note this; not that prayer is not bad, but when one is praying, there should be fervent lent of helping hand—by self; to harness God’s blessings for us. It’s very crucial you know that, your business acumen alone cannot guarantee your success if your hands and brain refused to be put into work in order to rejuvenate the glory and keep the fire of the victory longer than ever.

You’ve been blessed from creation, but your efforts need to be put into action as Jabez did to unveil the new inheritance that brought him to limelight. Your educational certificates or qualifications can do virtually nothing if you fail to thread on the path of success-driven careers.

Nobody can comfortably satisfy you, no matter how he or she is trying to please you. Your life is not in the hands of any other person but in your own hands and care. Changing from bad to good, from failure to success etc rests only on your decision to be the best you can be.

It is obvious one cannot solve today’s problems with yesterday’s experience or knowledge. The world is a sea of endless flow of waters; you are the only sailor who can control the sail of your boat.  Keep the future hopeful with your acquired knowledge of today that lasts till tomorrow.
