Devil in a man! Father impregnates teenage daughter, insist on making her second wife

A randy father in Zimbabwe was preparing to marry his daughter after impregnating her.

A heartless man has caused outrage in Zimbabwe after he impregnated his young daughter and insisted that he was going to make her his second wife against all reasoning by his family.

The 46-year-old man, according to Chronicle, had been having a secret sexual relations with his 18-year-old daughter for five years till she beam pregnant and he insisted on getting married to her.

But the randy father will now spend the next 15 years in prison after a regional court sentenced him when it emerged he had been sleeping with the girl since she was 13.

It was also learnt that even after the girl got married early as a way of escaping the abuse, her father seemed undeterred as he ordered her to return home after every three days to have sex with her, resulting in the pregnancy.

The man was dragged to court after his daughter's former teacher sensed that something was amiss with her former pupil and when she interviewed her, she opened up on the years of abuse, leading police to arrest the man and charge him to court.

Regional magistrate Dambudzo Malunga, described the man as a cruel and heartless man who tormented and traumatized a daughter he is supposed to protect.

 “You’re a cruel man who traumatised your own daughter by threatening her with death and disappearance so you would continue raping her.

You were supposed to protect her but you turned aggressor and a long custodial sentence is appropriate considering the circumstances that you impregnated her,” Malunga said .

The girl’s mother who said she knew about the abuse her child suffered in the hands of her father, told the court that she was afraid to denounce her husband’s actions as he had threatened her with death and was a well-known violent person.

 “I knew about my daughter’s abuse from the time it started because every time he would want to rape her, he would tell me. I was afraid to report it to the police because of the death threats that he would make against me and my daughter.

Knowing my husband’s short temper and his violent tendencies which are well known in the area where we live, I decided to keep quiet,” the woman said.
