WINNING WITHOUT WALLS

“A man may fall many times, but he won’t be a failure until he says that someone pushed him”.
    Elmer G. Letterman

In the course of changing the paradigm of winning, and fashioning on the best and most reliable avenues to champion a cause for progressive change in one’s life endeavor. To survive the traumas of todays’ hard-life struggles; there must be a well-enhanced and personal re-orienting of one’s mind, to prepare us for the tussles ahead. Indeed, the struggles of life will never get lesser, nor would the needs for the survival of the fittest get fewer; due to the increase in families’ expectancy and growing population. The adjective, poverty and failure are two phrases that denote lack-and-wants. As a matter of fact, poverty is a product of failure that was borne out of laziness and lack of purpose in life. Ralph Waldo Emerson said; “Do not waste your time in rejection, nor bark against the bad, but chant the beauty of the good”. There will never be any perfection or success stories if there were none amongst the competitors who barked out of the race or contests. No brave and purposeful dreamer would rightly quit his dream due to the monster-called FEAR.
According to Napoleon Hill; “Failure is nature’s plan to prepare you for great responsibilities”. We must all be good learners as we listen to the songs of life in the most despairing moments. Life’s greatest achievement is the happiness in the midst of success; in this light, we must all strive to do more than good enough; we must project and promote the spirit of excellence in order to attract progress in whatever we are doing. Denis Waitley said; “Failure is only a temporary change in direction to set you straight for your next success”. To get to the top of the ladder, we must never get distracted, and to stay on top; we must never look down from where we are coming.
Failure and success had always been a choice right from time immemorial. You must never blame anyone for the outcomes of your choices. Your choice plays a very pertinent role in your quest for success in life. Failure shouldn’t be a last resort neither should fear be dreaded nor castigated as long as we take solace in the hope of overcoming it in the future events. “Failure should be our teacher, not our undertaker. Failure is a delay, not a defeat. It is a temporary detour, not a dead end…”
To take the lead in whatever career we’ve chosen; we must do all we can to eschew mediocrity, and strive to jettison avarice and every possibility of pitfalls, in order to pave the ways for greater heights and uphold the excellence spirit. Learning to thrive in the face of pains and agonies is no mean task; but in doing that, there must be a strict avoidance of anything that could bring sorrow to us. Time is another veritable tool to be taken into account if hope is to come the way on the brink of trials. Do not forget, histories are made by those who know how to break the rules.
Robert Schuller said; “If there exists no possibility of failure, then victory is meaningless”. Since we cannot climb the ladder of victory with one hand in the pocket, we must never fight failures with lips alone, but there must be actions backed with resilience to succeed. Our attitude towards making it real big in life is not much of a big deal; the big thing is to match our pro-active gestures with the zealousness in our drive to take the lead, in order to mark a new beginning in our endeavours. According to Confucius; “Our greatest glory is not in never falling, but rising every time we fall”. Indeed, falling is part of learning to get it better and better.
The greatest barrier of success is the fear of failure. No matter the persisting circumstance, we mustn’t give in to the deviation and distractions from their existence. Our power to do the magic lies much in the kind of perception we have about ruling in winnings. “A closed door is an open door in disguise”, Lindsey Rietzsch. You must never see all challenges as dead-ends; neither must you see failures as the end of the road for you; beef up the courage to start up from where you fell or derailed on the journey.  Our advantages to fight the horrors of fears are not only in the resistance to the troubles that lay ahead of victory; rather, they are more in attitude towards building a better bond and bridge to repel failure.
