TIME IS TOO SHORT TO BE WASTED
According to the Chinese proverb “The best time to plant a tree was 20 (twenty) years ago, and the next best time is now”. Finding it difficult to manage time is not new or strange but if you could only place more value on time than ever, wake up more earlier than before, pay more attention to things that keeps you progressing, spend more hours on your assignment than usual, create more time for tomorrow, and by so doing you are signing your cheque to victory.
Drucker F. Peter said, “Time is the scarcest of all resources; if we can manage time, we can manage anything”. Time is the most valuable asset that dictates the pace of our state with excellence, so if our greatness or success would last a life time, we must strive to safe keep our times. More over to save time, you must sleep late, and wake earlier than usual. And if, you must finish on time, you must start earlier before time.
Do not engage in wasting precious time trying to cut corners – short cuts are usually the longest cuts. Avoid playing with time all in a bid to avoid haste; haste is non-calculated attempt while saving ahead of your obstacles. Moreover, Samuel Johnson said, “Almost everyman wastes part of his life in an attempt to display qualities he doesn’t possess”.
Moreover, avoid giving your time to critics by listening to them; they are bent on squandering your valuable time.
